A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Julia Bertram

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame. This May, I will graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture with a concentration in Furniture Design.

From a house to a neighborhood to a city, architecture affects all of us. My goal in architecture is to design sensible yet expressive buildings and communities that allow people to have fulfilling experiences.

Harrison Design: Santa Barbara, CA — Intern

JUNE 2021 - JULY 2021

Collaborated with architects on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
Created architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
Rendered process sketches and watercolor presentation drawings

ND Architecture: Notre Dame, IN —Teaching Assistant

FEBRUARY 2021 - MAY 2021

Worked with Professor John Mellor and other teaching assistants to provide a more individualized experience for first-year students in Graphics II Drafting.
Helped students learn hand-drafting, which is a key component in the Notre Dame Architecture curriculum.

George M. Rogers Architect: Las Vegas, NV — Intern

JUNE 2020 - JANUARY 2021

Collaborated with architects on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
Created models and architectural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
Organized drawings into land-use packets using Bluebeam Revu.

Worked with Professor Giuseppe Mazzone and other teaching assistants to provide a more individualized experience for first-year students in Graphics I Drawing.
