I had the opportunity to work with the Las Vegas firm for both Summer 2020 and Winter 2021. I worked on a variety of projects from residential to educational to commercial. My first project was to create a model of the Valley of Fire visitor's center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This project allowed me to learn Revit, which I was then able to use for other projects like the Hofland Residence. My work with the Hofland Residence began in the summer with a modern addition to an existing house. When I returned in the winter, the project had changed, and the addition began to engage more with the existing house. In both renditions of the project I was able to help with the design of the exterior and create multiple options for the interior room layouts.
